Among our activities, we work with our corporate partners to identify failure points in the supply chain, and solve them through the use of disciplined process and technology implementation. This approach led to a number of success stories within the last 12 months

Vessels and Ports - Cyber & Security challenges

The ongoing and increasing challenges of cybersecurity as a whole and specifically for vessels, has led us to seek solutions. Israel is known for its cybersecurity abilities. We helped adopting and adapting the adequate cybersecurity tools the capabilities to the vessels and boats operating within our scope.
We have implemented hardware that monitors the vessels constantly for vulnerability of Cyber
threats. Combined with an active defense algorithm and real time alerts. We have reached new capabilities which were applied to the entire fleet of one of our stakeholders
and are now starting to offer services for ports as well.

Safety- Using Computer vision technology for crew safety on board

Safety - Computer vision technology for crew safeties

Safety has been and remains a priority for the Maritime and logistics (staff & equipment) industries. We use overlying existing CCTV systems to help providing teams with important information for daily routine which optimizes operations and ensures staff safety. By adoption a cloud-based solution which relies on existing CCTV system, fleet's captains and DPA’s get proactive alerts and notifications for anomalies in real time. These enable captains and controls to avoid deterioration of cases. Implementation has been successful in a basic fleet, and we are happy to expand implementation wherever needed. In order to further test cases and develop future requirements

ReFreight – Transition of the freight forwarding business

The Freight forwarding landscape has gone through tremendous turbulence in the past years. Competitive
landscape continues to change, and digitalization is key to success. Within ReFreight, we invest in freight forwarding companies that seek to accelerate their business results.
Work Stages include an analysis of the current state of business and identification of any roadblocks that prevent it from meeting its full potential. An acceleration process of 6-12 months led to redesign of internal processes, organizational structure, and implementation of suitable software tools to align with the needed shift in business processes. We aim to change the growth trajectory of the business, and instead of adding more employees to grow, our investment allows growth with the same resources (or less)

Operational equipment – High availability with lower cost

The one thing that is obvious in any port or warhorse facility is the large quantity and variability of operational equipment such as cranes, forklifts, trucks etc. These are heavily operated and may become the ports / warehouse operational bottleneck. They cost heavily and carry a direct cost of maintenance as well as downtime cost. State of the art simulation and AI, coupled with IOT (Internet of things), is the basis of optimizing the operation platform supported by MLA. This platform enables optimal management of the tools. Line operations receive visibility to actual status and equipment location. Operational managers use maintenance prediction (reduced and
optimized) as well as load planning. Cost analysis and LCC optimization serve the budget planners
